Equality: a Right for All

Imagine a world
Where we equal
Each other.
Define it, you say?
Ancient two words,
Golden rule.
Treat everyone just
And kindly, yet
Honestly.
No matter color,
Gender, age, or
Religion.
Sexuality,
Beliefs, as well
As mindset.
We are all human.
            We are equal
We are one.

  1. Charlie- I'm not quite sure where to leave a comment as you have so many entries already. You may want to create a separate 'page' on your blog for drafts. I'm struck by this one for the use of color, the clear, tight structure. The three lines landing on one word. I'd love to see you workshop this one to see where else it might go. The other one that strikes me is 'Inheritance' but mostly for what you leave out. This a mostly telling, but not telling. You suggest parental legacies without naming them. I'd love to see you take this on again, but maybe from a parental point of view, or perhaps through short vignettes that show each moment?
